attention: NYC alcoholics
I just talked to Seaburn Bookstore about hosting the Drunk Spelling Bee there and the owner is down with us getting crunk for two or three hours while spelling words (also: other fun things! surprises!). It’s going to be June 4th, which is a Saturday, and it’s in Astoria, Queens (which is rly close to Manhattan, I swear). It’s obvz. free to come hang out but if you want to participate, it’s gonna be like $3-$5 ‘cause I’ve got to rent the space/buy alcohol but it does mean that everyone who participates gets free booze (!!). It’s BYOB for the rest of you fucks.*
ANYWAY, the point is, if you want to participate e-mail me at pilotbacon@gmail.com just so I can kinda get a headcount before I go put down cash money next week.
*but if you bring a book or two to donate to the store i’ll probably give you a free drink ‘cause i <3 this place.

June 11 and 12 is fast approaching people! That means the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn is coming up! I’m still serious about having a Tumblr meetup! Both Darcy and I will be spending our weekend in Brooklyn. We’ll be at the festival and then we’re seeing the Decemberists play live at Prospect Park on June 14th. Tickets may still be available.

Hey! So yeah went to the meetup today, fucking awesome I think. This was my third one and each one I go to brings something new and interesting so just want to say thanks to everyone for being absolutely cool.
This is the sheet of URLs I collected today (though some I already follow…) and I have to follow everyone on it so this shall be difficult but I shall complete this mission!
